AI.SUMMIT 2023

Breaking Boundaries: AI Trends, Innovations and Use Cases

29 JUNE 2023, CONGRESS CENTER HAMBURG (CCH)

With generative AI and ChatGPT leading the charge, AI is breaking into the mainstream. The attention will inevitably lead to greater adoption.

Tech startups and innovators are now finding an environment hungry for practical solutions across industries. At the same time, new generations of breakthrough innovations are emerging in research labs, waiting to be successfully commercialized.

Location: CCH – Congress Center Hamburg

As AI pushes boundaries, regulation is picking up steam, with the European AI Act likely to set a global benchmark and heralding new requirements for governance and oversight.

Companies that want to take advantage of these current and future opportunities must now find ways to responsibly deploy AI across the board. We are beyond the experimental stage – speed, scale and responsible use are now of the essence to seize the opportunity. The AI.SUMMIT 2023 partnered with the BLOCKCHANCE conference.

Expected Highlights

Dive into the latest trends, AI innovations and use cases – presented through keynotes, pitches and panel discussions from thought leaders, startups and industry leaders – and immerse yourself in an international ecosystem at the intersection of AI and Blockchain at the Hamburg AI SUMMIT.

Key Topics

KEYNOTES & PITCHES:

Examining ChatGPT, Bard and Generative AI at large

What is the breakthrough behind generative AI and ChatGPT, and what industry applications, business models, and cybersecurity implications will we see emerge? Which Industries will be disrupted (and when)? What will be the impact on skills and jobs?

Intersection of AI and Web3, the next growth horizon?

From data processing to supply chain management and from fraud detection to process automation, the potential of AI and blockchain working together is ubiquitous. It promises to boost trust AI and provide new ways to govern human-machine interactions. But what potential does the interplay of these technologies already offer to enterprises and SMEs today? What new opportunities do they open up for innovators? And how can the technologies be used for new forms of governance?

AI Innovations, from the lab to the market

Science serves as the breeding ground for breakthrough innovations. Europe and Germany are strong in AI research but weak in commercialization. What AI advances are currently being developed in labs, and how can they be turned into viable, scalable solutions? How are companies successfully spun out of universities?

AI at the interface of Climate Change & Sustainability

AI is an important tool in the fight against climate change, for example by enabling smart grids or climate models, and at the same time it emits – whether through the power consumption of data centers or the production of semiconductors. How can we leverage AI to fight climate change? How can we make AI green?

PANELS:

What it takes to build an AI centered enterprise

How to successfully introduce and holistically leverage AI and robotic innovations across company functions, from HR to production and finance to marketing? How can corporates and SMEs boost their competitiveness and efficiency with the implementation of AI solutions?

The role of AI governance and regulation for innovators

What does the increasing importance of explainable, trusted and responsible AI, Privacy, AI Regulation (AI Act) mean for my business and product development? What regulatory initiatives are globally emerging and shaping markets?
